MSC Cruises has officially opened sales for MSC World Atlantic, the next ship in the line’s innovative World Class series and the newest addition set to call Port Canaveral home starting November 2027. The announcement gives travelers their first look at the ship’s itineraries, onboard venues, and early booking perks for MSC Voyagers Club members.
MSC World Atlantic is shaping up to be one of the most exciting ships to ever sail from Central Florida. Built to combine MSC’s signature European flair with a stronger American-style comfort approach, the ship will offer 7-night and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries with calls to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Turk, and Puerto Plata.
MSC describes the ship as a destination in itself, promising a chance to taste, see, and feel the world in one holiday.
What’s New on MSC World Atlantic
MSC World Atlantic will introduce several new venues along with fan-favorites from earlier World Class ships. Highlights include:
Viva La Musica
A brand-new, Latin-inspired lounge offering live music, dancing, and handcrafted cocktails. Expect high-energy nights and a festive atmosphere that celebrates Latin culture.
The Clubhouse
Making its U.S. debut, this retro-inspired family and teen venue features bumper cars, pickleball, roller skating, classic games, a LEGO Family Zone, and even more activities designed for multi-generational fun.
Seven Distinct Onboard Districts
Like sister ships MSC World America and MSC World Asia, World Atlantic will feature themed districts that each offer their own atmosphere and entertainment style.
Cliffhanger
Returning from MSC World America, Cliffhanger is the dramatic over-water swing that lifts riders nearly 50 meters above the ocean. Expect long lines on sea days.
A Massive Dining and Bar Lineup
With more than 40 restaurants, lounges, and bars, guests can look forward to a global assortment of flavors.
Specialty restaurants include:
- Butcher’s Cut steakhouse
- Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki
- Hola! Tacos & Cantina
- Plus several new concepts yet to be announced
MSC Yacht Club
The ship within a ship returns with 144 suites, a private pool deck, Ocean House Beach access on Ocean Cay, and 24-hour concierge service.
Family Aventura District and The Harbour
This open-air family zone brings together an Aquapark, High Trail Ropes Course, dining venues, and interactive play spaces inspired by outdoor adventure.
Doremiland Kids Club
One of MSC’s largest yet, now including two brand-new LEGO spaces for ages 0 to 17.
Panorama Lounge
A two-story entertainment venue offering cocktails, immersive LED experiences, and nightly shows.
MSC Aurea Spa
The spa will be one of the largest in MSC’s fleet, featuring saunas, steam rooms, snow rooms, and oceanview fitness spaces powered by Technogym.
Itineraries Now on Sale
MSC World Atlantic will sail alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages.. Every itinerary includes a stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC’s private Bahamian island.
Cruises start at $809 per person, a competitive price for such a feature-rich newbuild debuting in the U.S. market.
Voyagers Club Member Perks
From December 10 to 24, 2025, Voyagers Club members receive:
- An additional 1000 points (including Welcome tier)
- $50 onboard credit for Classic and above
- A 5 percent discount plus an additional 5 percent for booking more than 12 months ahead
- Double points added after the cruise
- Additional $50 credit for Silver tier and higher
MSC has been leaning harder into rewarding loyalty members with early booking windows, and this launch continues that trend.
A More Sustainable World Class Ship
MSC World Atlantic will run on LNG fuel, feature shore-power compatibility, and use advanced wastewater and recycling technologies. Smart systems onboard will automate energy and water conservation as part of MSC’s continued focus on greener cruising.
Looking Ahead
With more than 38,000 square meters of public space and an ambitious lineup of entertainment and dining, MSC World Atlantic looks ready to level up MSC’s presence in the U.S. market. Sailing from Port Canaveral also makes the ship highly accessible to families with easy Orlando connections.
Itineraries are now listed and open for booking, and more onboard features are expected to be revealed as the ship moves closer to its 2027 debut.
If you’re planning ahead for a winter or summer Caribbean escape in 2027 or 2028, this is one of the earliest opportunities to lock in launch-year pricing.
