We’re just a regular cruise-obsessed family who’s been floating around the Caribbean (and beyond) for the past 15 years. With over 20 cruises under our belts, you’d think we’d tried everything by now.

But until 2023, we had never stepped foot on an MSC ship.

Why? Because the internet told us not to.

We read the horror stories — the food is awful, the crowds are a nightmare, and don’t even get us started on the mysterious complaint of “European service” (we still have no idea what that means… do they serve pasta too politely?).

But then we saw a deal we couldn’t resist — and we figured, “How bad could it really be?”

Spoiler alert: It wasn’t bad. It was amazing.

The ship was jaw-droppingly beautiful, the private island felt like something out of a fantasy novel, and the food? Let’s just say we didn’t go hungry. We had such a great time that we booked again the next year… and again the year after that.

Now, we’re hooked — and more importantly, we’re on a mission.

This site is our way of sharing what we’ve learned (and what we wish we’d known sooner), busting the persistent myths about MSC, and helping other cruisers — first-timers and salty sea veterans alike — have the best experience possible.
